Amrit Bharat Stations Scheme (ABSS)
Amrit Bharat Stations Scheme was launched in year 2023 for approximately 7000 stations. Initially 1321 stations were taken on hand for redevelopment of stations. Last year 508 stations taken on hand Bhoomi Poojan done by Hon’ble Prime minister. On 27 February 2024 Prime minister inaugurated 524 stations under the ABSS Scheme.
• Development of Stations
Under the Scheme of Amrit Bharat Station (ABSS) Stations are being redeveloped by providing passengers facilities or modifications in facilities like Foot over Bridge, Entry/Exist of vehicles, and development in all the way of comfort in waiting room etc.

• Development in station structure
Development in station area in such way that looks beautiful and remarkable.
It includes development of platforms, Shed and increase in water facilities.
• Development in circulating area
All the stations redeveloped in Circulating Area keeping in view of less crowd and entry & exits separately under this Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Many locations have selfie points also.
• Divyang Friendly
All the stations under this Amrit Bharat Station Scheme are planned Divyang friendly like ticket window, Ramp and water booth etc
During the development under this Amrit Bharat Station Scheme work is being done so that today facilities did not effect. It is a big project of Railway in all over India.
